Built at a busy intersection near downtown Bellingham, this building contains a showroom, two exam stations, a private office and other support spaces. Designed by James E. Zervas, AIA, this building clearly demonstrates Frank Lloyd Wright's influence in Jim's career. Jim worked for Mr. Wright in the late 1950's. Evocative of the ìPrairie Styleî made famous by Mr. Wright, the building features broad overhangs, abundant use of glass and cantilevered floor slabs. The building is currently owned by the Community Food Co-Op and utilized for meetings and classes.
