Located in Bellingham's Central Business District, this early 20th Century 2-story masonry/wood building was formerly a mixed use with lower-level retail and 19-room hotel on the second-floor. The hotel rooms were converted to single occupant efficiency apartments that had community bathrooms and limited life and safety upgrades. Parberry's Northwest Recycling renovated the 6,660 Sq. Ft. second-floor and constructed eight new units with these improvements:
- Complete demolition of interior walls, finishes, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Eight units total (6-single bedroom studios, and 2-two bedroom units) with ensuite bathrooms and full kitchens
- Shared additional storage and laundry facilities
- Accessibility upgrades
- Fire sprinkler system
- New electrical and mechanical systems throughout
