The school is wood framed construction atop cast-in-place concrete crawlspace walls with perimeter flood vents to accommodate potential flooding and the passage of water under the building. Exterior materials consist of primarily brick, fiber cement lap and panel siding in accent colors, metal siding, black vinyl windows and sunshades, and TPO roofing. Located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the school utilizes an existing auxiliary gymnasium, brand new covered play structure, an existing playground and new playground all available for public use.
